Volunteerism builds spirit, bottom line and employability

Hi there, folks!  Yesterday I was drawn in (or perhaps out) by the afternoon’s gorgeous weather and took a walk down Robson street to breathe it in.  Amongst the rows of newspaper boxes on the sidewalk, the Empoyment Paper box caught my eye; in particular, the front-page headline on the paper displayed in its window.

It’s a great article on the dedication of non-profit workers, the nature of their work and how you too can put your “professional passion before profit.”  Definitely worth the read.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
