you can give the Volunteer Centre about the volunteer opportunities in
your agency, the better informed we will be to explain your requirements
to potential volunteers.
Please Provide
- General information on your agency including address, telephone number, name of the coordinator of the volunteer program and the type of organization
- Specific information on your needs including skill and qualification requirements, time commitment and duration of the volunteer position
It is important that agencies have ongoing contact with the Volunteer Centre to regularly review and update their requests.
The Volunteer Centre does not screen volunteer applicants. We are an information service that provides potential volunteers with details about the organizations and volunteer positions that appeal to them. Screening should be done according to your own agency's policy after carefully interviewing potential candidates.
The Volunteer Centre will occasionally advertise in the local papers, and give extra focus to positions that need filling immediately.
