Suicide risk assessment, crisis intervention and short-term counselling for children and youth in Surrey / White Rock and Langley
Clients are referred by school counsellors, the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD), other community agencies or by self-referal
What we offer:
- Services to youth under 19 years of age who are at risk of suicide, have attempted suicide or are survivors of suicide
- Provide assessment, intervention, counselling and support to those who have made a suicide attempt or are at risk of doing so
- Short-term, supportive counselling
- Suicide prevention workshops
to schools, community agencies and special interest groups. Participants learn how to identify warning signs of suicide and ways of providing support to those at risk.
